About the role
Applied Materials is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join the DFT Display Lab in Tainan. The role involves designing, modifying, and troubleshooting electrical and electronic assemblies that support advanced semiconductor and display equipment.
Key responsibilities
- Design and modify electrical assemblies, layouts, schematics, and drawings for complex equipment.
- Identify and resolve a variety of complex electrical problems with limited supervision.
- Define, coordinate, perform, and generate engineering test reports.
- Conduct engineering analysis of difficult scope and lead or execute projects, including supplier development.
- Generate electrical product specifications and review engineering documentation.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 4–7 years of relevant experience in electrical or electronic engineering.
- Demonstrated ability to lead small projects and work with key suppliers.
- Strong knowledge of industry best practices and ability to communicate technical information clearly.
