Director, Site Start‑Up

About the role

Precision for Medicine is seeking a Director to lead its Site Start‑Up (SSU) department. The role combines strategic planning, people management and cross‑functional collaboration to ensure efficient and compliant initiation of clinical trials.

Key responsibilities

• Provide leadership, guidance and support to the SSU team on project delivery, communication, revenue enhancement and process improvement.
• Oversee all aspects of site start‑up, including IRB/EC submissions, competent authority filings, contract and budget negotiations.
• Collaborate with the Head of Site Start‑Up to develop and maintain the SSU framework, tools, risk assessments and methodology.
• Coordinate with Clinical Operations, Project Management and other functions to plan and govern global or regional SSU activities.
• Manage escalations, drive remediation and ensure timely resolution of SSU concerns.
• Lead change‑management initiatives to support the growth and expansion of the organization.

Required profile

• Extensive experience leading site start‑up functions within clinical research or CRO environments.
• Deep knowledge of regulatory requirements (local, regional, ICH, GCP) and clinical trial processes.
• Proven ability to manage complex, high‑revenue programs and cross‑functional teams.
• Strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Demonstrated capability in process optimisation and change leadership.
