DevOps Engineer – Risk & Quant Analytics

About the role

Polymer Capital Management is seeking a DevOps Engineer to support its Risk & Quant Analytics team. You will design, implement, and maintain the infrastructure that powers our market‑neutral investment platform, ensuring high availability, security, and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and improve Infrastructure‑as‑Code (IaC) deployments using Terraform.
• Perform regular system maintenance, updates, and performance tuning.
• Manage AWS and on‑premise data‑center environments, including compute, storage, and networking.
• Configure network security tools, identity services, and access management systems, especially Okta.
• Monitor system health, troubleshoot incidents, and guarantee reliability.
• Collaborate with development teams to align infrastructure with application needs.
• Ensure disaster recovery plans and backups are correctly configured and tested.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline.
• Strong background in Linux system administration.
• Proficiency in at least one scripting language such as Python or Bash.
• Experience with AWS management and container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with version control (Git) and fast‑paced collaborative environments.
