Demand Supply Planner

About the role

We are looking for a Demand Supply Planner to lead the monthly demand review process, collaborate with commercial and marketing teams, and translate forecasts into actionable supply‑chain plans. The role ensures accurate forecasting, optimal inventory levels and smooth product launches and end‑of‑life transitions.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct monthly demand reviews with Commercial/Marketing to consolidate sales forecasts and prepare purchase plan submissions.
• Validate forecast valuations against financial, sales and inventory estimates and define corrective actions when needed.
• Capture and analyse key business drivers such as market share, promotions, inventory requirements and competitive activity to improve forecast accuracy.
• Collaborate with Marketing, NPI and Procurement on new product introductions and product end‑of‑life to minimise obsolescence.
• Manage SKU forecasts to support service demand, reduce freight costs and optimise inventory levels.
• Partner with stakeholders to translate forecasts into supply‑chain plans that meet month‑of‑supply and days‑of‑inventory targets while avoiding stock‑outs.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual purchase plan forecasts and generate stock orders and purchase orders.
• Ensure S&OP best practices are applied across regions and continuously improve forecast bias KPIs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics Management, Industrial Engineering or Business Management.
• Minimum 3 years of demand‑supply planning experience in FMCG, retail or manufacturing.
• Experience with S&OP processes and warehouse operations.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to design or re‑engineer processes and build a demand‑planning function.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English.

Required skills

• Experience with WMS, SAP or Oracle systems.
• Familiarity with Microsoft AX (preferred).
• Advanced Excel skills; knowledge of macros is a plus.
• Use of Microsoft Office suite.
