Country Human Resources Manager – Taiwan

About the role

The Country Human Resources Manager will lead HR strategy and operations for Taiwan, aligning local practices with regional and global objectives. This senior role is responsible for the full employee lifecycle, ensuring compliance, data quality, and a supportive workplace culture.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the Country HR strategy in line with regional goals.
• Oversee the entire employee lifecycle, including payroll accuracy and data integrity.
• Provide standards and guidelines for branding, recruiting, talent management, succession planning, and other HR processes.
• Control the HR budget, forecast staffing costs, and report on financial variances.
• Develop and implement diversity, equal opportunity, wellbeing, health, and counselling policies.
• Ensure compliance with legal regulations and best practices.
• Analyze people data (turnover, cost per hire, etc.) and present insights to senior leadership.
• Design and deliver country‑specific training programs and support conflict resolution.
• Collaborate with General Management, Sales, and supporting functions in a matrix environment.
• Identify staffing needs, create job descriptions, and manage talent acquisition and retention.
• Lead employee feedback analysis to improve culture and engagement.
• Drive HR system enhancements and digital solutions implementation.

Required profile

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in human resources or a related field.
• Proven ability to develop and execute HR strategies at a country level.
• Strong understanding of local labor laws and HR best practices.
• Experience managing HR budgets and forecasting staffing costs.
• Ability to work collaboratively across functions in a matrix organization.
