Controller II, Revenue Accounting

About the role

The Revenue Reporting Manager will join the Global Sales Finance team of a leading semiconductor equipment manufacturer. Reporting to the Director Finance & Control – Global Revenue Accounting, you will be responsible for accurate, timely and IFRS 15‑compliant revenue reporting and for driving improvements in the end‑to‑end revenue process.

Key responsibilities

• Assess complex commercial arrangements and determine appropriate revenue recognition under IFRS 15.
• Deliver monthly, quarterly and annual revenue reporting, including accrued and deferred revenue positions.
• Own period‑end close activities (month/quarter/year), managing the close calendar, cut‑off validation and revenue entries.
• Prepare and review reconciliation, roll‑forward, fluctuation analysis and statutory reporting packages.
• Coordinate revenue controls, audit support and documentation for internal and external audits.
• Support SAP S/4HANA transformation by redesigning revenue accounting processes and integrating Sales (SD) to Revenue Accounting & Reporting (RAR) and Finance (FI/Universal Journal).

Required profile

• Analytical, solution‑oriented finance professional comfortable in a global matrix environment.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS 15 and hands‑on experience with revenue accounting.
• Proactive challenger of the status‑quo with excellent communication skills.
