Contamination Control Night Shift Engineer

About the role

Micron Technology is hiring a Contamination Control (CC) Engineer for its MQC (Material Quality Control) team at the Tongluo facility in Miaoli, Taiwan. The role works with the CC team and other departments to start, maintain and control cleanroom cleanliness and airborne molecular contaminants (AMC) so that production runs in a stable, high-quality environment. It also covers equipment troubleshooting, statistical process control (SPC), safety and audit requirements, and the development of contamination control knowledge.

Key responsibilities

• Work the night shift.
• Manage cleanroom AMC, including MA/MB/MC sample preparation and sampling schedules.
• Perform cleanroom ESD measurements and manage ESD items.
• Carry out particle sampling and metal swab sampling, and summarise material test and verification reports.
• Manage sensors: follow-ups on excursions, troubleshooting, maintenance and calibration, performance checks, and spare parts management and purchasing.
• Keep the cleanroom 6S, safety, audits, data accuracy and metrics performance under control.
• Control and respond to cleanroom ISO requirements.
• Prepare pre-task work and SOPs, and lead excursions and OCAP follow-up.
