Construction Project Manager (Data Center)

Key responsibilities

• Support delivery of construction projects across planning, coordination, execution and completion phases.
• Assist in managing schedules, budgets, risks, procurement needs and overall resource coordination.
• Participate in meetings with clients, consultants, contractors and authorities to ensure alignment on scope, quality and safety.
• Act as the central communication point for clients and stakeholders, providing clear updates and facilitating timely decisions.
• Build strong relationships across engineering, design, procurement, construction, validation and regulatory teams.
• Review design information, technical submissions, validation requirements (e.g., cGMP for pharma, redundancy for data centres) and change requests.
• Support tendering activities, document evaluation, negotiation and contract administration.
• Monitor contractor progress, claims, variations and commercial implications using sound cost‑management principles.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, safety standards and sector‑specific requirements.
• Attend site as needed to track progress, safety practices and overall performance.
• Prepare reports, dashboards, risk logs and change trackers to provide visibility for decision‑making.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in construction project management, preferably in a consulting or client‑side environment.
• Proven track record managing large‑scale projects, ideally data centres.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, technical standards and best‑practice delivery.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or willingness to obtain one.
• Degree or comparable experience in a construction or project‑management discipline.
• Detail‑oriented, quality‑focused with excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
