Backend Engineer – AI‑Enhanced Product Development

About the role

We are seeking a Backend Engineer who will drive the creation of game‑event websites and the supporting backend services. The role blends traditional backend development with AI‑assisted product building, allowing you to deliver features faster while maintaining high quality.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end product development, from requirement analysis to delivery, for game event portals.
• Design, implement and maintain scalable backend systems using Python and Django, ensuring reliability, performance and security.
• Utilise AI tools to generate and refine code, automate testing, debugging and documentation.
• Translate UI designs into functional frontend components with Vue/Nuxt, handling state management and user flows.
• Collaborate with product managers, QA engineers and designers to clarify scope and drive execution.

Required profile

• 2+ years of professional backend development experience.
• Proficiency with Python, Django and RESTful API design.
• Hands‑on experience with AI coding assistants (e.g., Cursor, GitHub Copilot).
• Strong understanding of relational databases (MySQL) and caching (Redis).
• Working knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3 and modern frameworks such as Vue/Nuxt.
• Self‑starter attitude with a problem‑solving mindset.
