About the role

Chung Shan Medical University seeks a full‑time Associate Professor to join its faculty in Taichung City. The successful candidate will contribute to undergraduate and graduate education, advance research in medical or health sciences, and support the university’s mission of academic excellence and community engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Teach and develop curricula for undergraduate and graduate courses.
• Supervise student projects, theses, and dissertations.
• Conduct independent and collaborative research, publish in peer‑reviewed journals, and secure external funding.
• Participate in departmental committees, governance, and academic advising.
• Collaborate with affiliated hospitals, research centers, and community outreach programs.

Required profile

• Doctoral degree (PhD, MD, or equivalent) in a relevant medical, health sciences, or related discipline.
• Proven university‑level teaching experience with curriculum development.
• Established research record with peer‑reviewed publications.
• Experience supervising diverse student researchers.
• Strong written and verbal communication in English; Mandarin proficiency is a plus.
