Assistant Sales Manager

About the role

We are looking for an Assistant Sales Manager to drive room revenue and strengthen our market position. You will work closely with the Director of Sales to achieve revenue targets, build relationships with travel agencies, and provide market intelligence that informs our pricing strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve the hotel’s total rooms revenue, yield, average rate and occupancy as defined in the marketing plan.
• Monitor and exceed the relative RevPAR positioning against the primary competitive set.
• Gather and relay market trends, competitor activity and demand insights to senior management.
• Develop and maintain strong partnerships with travel agencies and other distribution channels to generate business.
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure seamless service delivery and guest satisfaction.
• Manage complex projects, multitask effectively and maintain organized records.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in rooms, event or sales roles within a 5‑star or luxury hotel environment.
• Basic Japanese communication skills and local nationality are preferred.
• Proven ability to meet revenue targets and build business relationships.
