Android Engineer for AI‑Powered Neobank App

About the role

We are seeking an Android Software Engineer to develop the native Android experience for KIRA’s AI‑driven neobank application. You will work closely with product, design and backend teams to deliver fast, reliable, and user‑centric mobile features that empower millions of users across Southeast Asia.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and ship Android features using Kotlin.
• Create clean mobile flows for insurance, payments, claims, renewals and broader financial services.
• Collaborate with product and design to simplify complex user journeys.
• Integrate backend REST APIs, ensuring stability, security and reliability of mobile flows.
• Optimize app performance, reduce crash rates, improve loading times, responsiveness and memory usage.
• Leverage analytics and production data to continuously improve the product.
• Develop AI‑assisted mobile experiences where they add genuine value.

Required profile

• 3+ years of professional Android development experience.
• Strong fundamentals in Android and a track record of shipping production apps.
• Deep understanding of mobile UX, usability, edge cases and end‑to‑end user flows.
• Experience debugging production issues and integrating REST APIs.
• High ownership, fast execution and meticulous attention to product quality.
