Analyst / Associate Consultant, Epidemiologist (Real World Evidence)

About the role

iQVIA's Real World Solutions is recruiting an Analyst / Associate Consultant, Epidemiologist to focus on real world evidence generation across the APAC region. The role works with experienced healthcare industry partners, academic researchers, consultants and data scientists, supporting the design, development and delivery of projects for clients such as database analytics, HEOR and patient-centred research (surveys, DCE, Delphi).

Key responsibilities

• Support the development of epidemiological study design, scientific and medical writing.
• Carry out epidemiological analyses, including descriptive outputs, synthesis and evidence generation around key epidemiological features of real world studies.
• Perform desk research, literature reviews and data analysis.
• Work with project managers, epidemiologists, data scientists, statisticians and consultants across APAC and other regions on multi-country studies.
• Maintain an in-depth understanding of real-world study designs and analytical methods.
• Support project delivery, including presentations and client deliverables, and take part in client meetings and workshops.
• Develop strategies to ensure analysis results are delivered accurately and on time.

Required profile

• MPH, MSc or PhD (or equivalent) in social science, epidemiology, public health or a related discipline.
• Experience designing and executing epidemiological studies.
• Fluency in spoken and written English.
• Able to work independently in a multidisciplinary, culturally diverse team and to communicate complex concepts clearly.

Required skills

• Sound epidemiological, analytical and writing skills.
• Preferred: experience with mixed-methods epidemiological studies, combining qualitative and quantitative methods.
• Preferred: prior experience with healthcare-related survey platforms, qualitative, quantitative and mixed-methods surveys.
