Account Manager

About the role

As an Account Manager at Molex, you will own the relationship with key customer accounts, driving both new demand creation and the defense of existing business. You will act as the primary interface between Molex and the customer, ensuring alignment of needs with Molex’s product portfolio and delivering profitable growth.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as a subject‑matter expert on Molex capabilities and product portfolio, positioning value to customers.
• Build, develop, and maintain strong relationships with technical and commercial influencers at the customer and within Molex.
• Track actions, opportunities, and outcomes in Molex’s Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
• Identify strategic business opportunities, develop business cases, and secure internal alignment.
• Monitor revenue and profitability across the portfolio and ensure accurate reporting.
• Coordinate new product introduction (NPI) execution, milestone tracking, and alignment with customer expectations.
• Partner with APO, contract manufacturing sales, and supply planning teams to support demand fulfillment.
• Own reporting and analytics for assigned business units, translating data into actionable insights.
• Articulate key value drivers and strategic recommendations to leadership.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or a technical discipline (or equivalent).
• Relevant experience in sales, account management, or a technical role.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both virtual and in‑person.
• Highly organized with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Proven ability to navigate ambiguity, analyze complex data, and influence stakeholders.
