US Attorney (Trust & Estate Planning)

About the role

We are seeking a qualified U.S. Attorney to join our US Trust Division, focusing on trust and estate planning for high‑net‑worth individuals and families. The role involves designing customized trust structures, providing legal guidance on wealth transfer, and ensuring compliance with U.S. trust, estate, and tax regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Design and document customized trust arrangements, drafting and reviewing trust‑related legal documents.
• Provide legal advisory services on U.S. trust laws, estate planning, and related matters, explaining complex concepts to clients.
• Support trust administration, monitor operations, resolve legal issues, and manage beneficiary matters.
• Advise on estate and succession planning to maximize asset protection and minimize tax exposure.
• Conduct compliance and regulatory reviews, monitor legal changes, and implement necessary updates.

Required profile

• Juris Doctor (JD) or Master of Laws (LLM) from an accredited U.S. law school.
• Active U.S. Bar License (fresh graduates with a U.S. Bar qualification are welcome).
• Strong understanding of U.S. trust law, estate planning, and related regulations.
• Familiarity with trust formation, administration, and compliance requirements.
• Knowledge of estate tax and wealth succession planning concepts.
• Preferred experience in trust administration, private‑wealth management, family office, or tax advisory services.
• Experience in dispute resolution, mediation, arbitration, or litigation is a plus.
• Chinese language proficiency is an advantage.
