Taiwan Analyst – Strategic Affairs

About the role

BowerGroupAsia (BGA) is a leading strategic affairs and public policy firm supporting multinational companies across the Indo‑Pacific and Africa. The firm is seeking a motivated Analyst to join its Taiwan team, helping clients understand Taiwan’s regulatory and geopolitical landscape and supporting investment decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Research, analyse and interpret Taiwan‑specific government regulations, policies and laws, and assess their business and investment implications.
• Produce high‑quality client deliverables such as memos, reports, presentations, stakeholder maps and briefing materials.
• Maintain and update Salesforce accounts, flag important developments and ensure timely communication with internal teams.
• Build and nurture networks with corporate executives, government officials, media and civil‑society experts, and map stakeholder ecosystems.
• Assist in scheduling and participating in client meetings, business‑development calls and conference calls.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of Taiwan’s geopolitical and regulatory environment.
• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree is a plus.
• 2‑5 years of experience in government, multinational corporations, journalism or consulting related to Taiwan.
• Excellent research, editing and written/verbal communication skills in native‑level English.
• Interest or experience in fintech, ICT or fast‑moving consumer goods sectors.
