Statistical Programmer (All Levels)

About the role

ICON, a global healthcare intelligence and clinical research organisation, is looking for a Statistical Programmer (all levels) to join its team. The role involves analysing clinical trial data and supporting the statistical analysis process so that high-quality results are delivered. It is described as a Taiwan remote position.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and validate SAS programs for the statistical analysis and reporting of clinical trial data.
• Collaborate with biostatisticians to define analysis plans and statistical methods for clinical data.
• Perform quality control checks on statistical outputs and ensure accuracy and consistency in reporting.
• Help prepare statistical reports, presentations and publications for regulatory submissions.
• Contribute to process improvements by identifying efficiencies in programming practices and methodologies.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science or a related field.
• Experience in statistical programming, preferably in a clinical research or pharmaceutical setting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team.
• Legal right to work in the country where the role is based.

Required skills

• Strong proficiency in SAS programming.
• Solid understanding of statistical concepts and methodologies.
