Site Security Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Site Security Manager to lead 24/7 physical security operations for a mission‑critical data centre. The role involves protecting people, assets and infrastructure while fostering a safety‑focused culture and ensuring compliance with client and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and oversee 24/7 physical security operations across the data centre, ensuring a safe, secure and compliant workplace.
• Manage, develop and mentor security personnel, including supervisors, responders, control‑room operators and administrative staff.
• Drive recruitment, onboarding, training, performance management and employee development to build a high‑performing security team.
• Partner with client stakeholders and site leadership to support operational objectives and deliver exceptional service outcomes.
• Ensure adherence to security policies, procedures, standards and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Monitor operational performance, identify security risks or gaps and implement corrective actions and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Oversee access‑control systems, CCTV, incident‑management processes and the maintenance of critical security documentation and reports.
• Lead incident response activities, manage escalations and support audits, inspections and compliance reviews.
• Communicate effectively with clients and internal stakeholders through briefings, meetings, presentations and operational updates.

Required profile

• Associate degree or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in the security industry, including at least 3 years in a people‑leadership role.
• Experience leading security teams within data‑center, critical‑infrastructure or high‑security environments is preferred.
• Proven ability to build high‑performing, safety‑focused teams and drive operational excellence.
