Site Reliability Engineer

About the role

As a Site Reliability Engineer at Netskope, you will join a dedicated team of software engineers focused on enhancing the availability, latency, performance, and efficiency of the Netskope platform. You will design, develop, and automate solutions that improve the reliability of production services built on micro‑service architectures.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with development teams and product managers to design highly available, performant, and secure features.
• Develop and maintain metrics, monitoring, and reporting systems to track service and infrastructure health.
• Drive efficiencies through capacity planning, configuration management, performance tuning, and root‑cause analysis.
• Design, test, document, and implement automation and processes for production services.
• Communicate non‑functional requirements such as security, reliability, scalability, and maintainability.
• Become a subject‑matter expert on assigned Netskope products, services, and supporting infrastructure.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Typically 5+ years of relevant work experience, including at least 3 years designing and operating reliable systems.
• Proven experience collaborating with cross‑functional teams in a fast‑paced environment.
