Senior Solutions Architect, Infiniband and Networking Ethernet

About the role

NVIDIA is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect specialized in Ethernet and InfiniBand networking to join its Infrastructure Specialist Team. You will work directly with customers, partners, and internal groups to design, implement, and support large‑scale AI/HPC infrastructures.

Key responsibilities

• Design and build AI/HPC networking solutions for new and existing customers.
• Support operational reliability of large AI clusters, focusing on performance, monitoring, logging, and alerting.
• Guide the full service lifecycle from design through deployment, operation, and continuous improvement.
• Maintain live services by measuring availability, latency, and overall health.
• Provide feedback to internal teams, open bugs, document work‑arounds, and suggest enhancements.

Required profile

• BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, Physics, Mathematics or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of professional experience with networking fundamentals, TCP/IP stack, and data‑center architecture.
• Strong customer focus, excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English.
• Self‑motivated leader capable of collaborating across teams.

Required skills

• Deep knowledge of TCP/IP, InfiniBand, EVPN, BGP, OSPF, VXLAN.
• Hands‑on experience with network OSes such as Cumulus Linux, SONiC, IOS, JunosOS, EOS.
• Automation using Ansible, Salt, Python and CI/CD pipeline development.
• Familiarity with cloud networking (AWS, GCP, Azure) is a plus.
• Understanding of HPC architectures, job schedulers (Slurm, PBS) and GPU‑focused hardware/software.
