Senior Production Planner / Scheduler

About the role

onsemi is looking for an energetic, highly organized Senior Production Planner / Scheduler to lead the Fab Department. You will supervise daily operations, manage shift schedules, and drive continuous improvement in fabrication methods and equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and schedule activities for a designated shift, maintaining records and reporting progress.
• Advise staff on administrative procedures, technical issues, and work priorities.
• Identify and recommend solutions for complex problems, escalating when necessary.
• Ensure employee training is completed and SOPs are followed.
• Maintain compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations and enforce safety rules.
• Interview, hire, train, develop, motivate, and evaluate staff performance.
• Plan and execute quality‑inspection activities, monitor workflow, and adjust schedules to meet production targets.
• Coordinate equipment repairs, evaluate new technologies, and support equipment reliability.

Required profile

• Proven experience supervising fabrication or manufacturing teams.
• Strong time‑management and decision‑making abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interaction with planners, buyers, and management.
• Ability to prioritize tasks based on business needs and drive process improvements.
