Senior Hotel Sourcing & Contracting Manager – Taiwan

About the role

We are looking for a results‑driven Senior Hotel Sourcing & Contracting Manager to lead our hotel supply strategy for the Taiwan market. The role will translate demand from Korea, Japan, Greater China, Southeast Asia and long‑haul markets into targeted sourcing actions that boost bookings, revenue and profitability across our B2B distribution network.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the hotel sourcing and contracting strategy for Taiwan.
• Source, negotiate and contract hotels using dynamic, exclusive, static‑rate, allotment and hard‑block models.
• Secure competitive net rates, promotions, value‑added benefits, favorable cancellation terms and guaranteed inventory.
• Build and manage strategic relationships with hotel owners, management companies, chains and independent properties.
• Identify high‑demand hotels and destinations using booking trends, search data, client demand and market intelligence.
• Close critical supply gaps for Korea, Japan, Greater China, Southeast Asia and long‑haul source markets.
• Benchmark rates and availability against major OTAs, wholesalers and bedbanks and lead corrective commercial action.
• Lead annual contracting cycles, tactical campaigns, commercial negotiations and partner performance reviews.
• Monitor revenue, production, conversion, rate competitiveness, inventory availability and contract compliance.
• Collaborate with Sales & Marketing, Operations, Content, Finance and Data teams to align supply with demand.
• Resolve major commercial, inventory and operational issues with hotel partners.
• Conduct regular hotel visits, inspections, market reviews and partner business meetings throughout Taiwan.
• Represent the company at trade shows, tourism workshops, hotel partner events and industry conferences.
• Provide market intelligence and performance reporting to regional management.
• Support and mentor junior sourcing or contracting team members as the Taiwan supply operation expands.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of experience in hotel contracting, sourcing, supply management or B2B hotel sales, including at least 2 years in a senior or market‑lead role.
• Experience with an OTA, bedbank, wholesaler, DMC, tour operator, hotel chain or travel‑technology company is strongly preferred.
• Established relationships with hotels, hotel groups and tourism stakeholders across Taiwan.
• Fluent in Mandarin Chinese and English; Korean or Japanese language proficiency is a strong advantage.
• Deep knowledge of Taiwan’s hotel market, destinations, seasonality, distribution environment and inbound travel demand.
• Proven ability to negotiate complex commercial terms and structure different inventory and pricing models.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate performance data into commercial actions.
