Senior Graphic Designer

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Graphic Designer who blends strong visual craft with AI‑powered speed to translate complex financial concepts into compelling creative for Japan’s retail investor market. The role is hands‑on, owning day‑to‑day design output for ThreeTrader’s Japan‑facing campaigns and collaborating closely with Growth, Marketing and Content teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design high‑performing marketing assets such as paid social ads, display banners, landing pages, email templates and app‑store creatives for the Japanese market.
• Translate complex trading and financial concepts into clear, visually engaging content for retail investors.
• Leverage AI‑powered design tools (e.g., Adobe Firefly, Midjourney, Runway) to accelerate production while maintaining brand quality.
• Apply and maintain ThreeTrader’s visual identity guidelines across all touchpoints.
• Build reusable templates and components to improve team efficiency.
• Ensure all creative complies with Japanese financial services regulations.
• Partner with Growth and Performance Marketing to produce variants for A/B testing and adapt global assets for local cultural nuance.
• Review performance data and iterate designs based on insights.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional graphic design experience with a strong digital marketing portfolio.
• Proven experience in FinTech or regulated financial services, understanding compliance constraints.
• Native‑level Japanese proficiency (JLPT N1) and deep knowledge of Japanese visual culture.
• Highly organised, detail‑oriented and able to manage multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment.
• Collaborative, self‑directed and comfortable working cross‑functionally.
