Senior Finance Manager – Taiwan R&D Center

About the role

The Global Finance Group is looking for a highly experienced Senior Finance Manager to lead finance operations at the Taiwan Technology R&D Center. This role combines hands‑on financial planning, payroll governance, and rigorous reporting to support the company’s innovative semiconductor initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the annual budgeting, long‑range planning and rolling forecast processes, and monitor monthly performance packs (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, KPIs).
• Provide variance analysis, risk/opportunity commentary and partner with functional leaders to drive cost efficiency.
• Oversee end‑to‑end payroll governance, ensuring compliance with Taiwan labor laws, tax and social‑insurance requirements, and manage payroll accounting, accruals and reconciliations.
• Manage month‑end close activities in SAP FI/CO, including journal entries, intercompany transactions, cost‑center allocations and internal control testing (SOX where applicable).
• Support the Controller on cross‑functional projects, statutory filings and audit preparation.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level experience in finance with strong FP&A capabilities.
• Deep expertise in SAP FI/CO and preferably payroll management.
• Excellent communication skills in both Chinese and English.
• Ability to start as an individual contributor and expand scope as proficiency grows.
