Senior Finance Manager – Taiwan R&D Center

About the role

Join the Global Finance Group to lead finance operations for the Taiwan Technology R&D Center. You will be the primary driver of financial planning, payroll governance, and reporting, ensuring a solid financial foundation for innovative semiconductor projects.

Key responsibilities

• Lead annual budgeting, long‑range planning and rolling forecasts; monitor monthly P&L, balance sheet, cash flow and KPI packs.
• Partner with functional leaders to drive cost efficiency and resource optimization.
• Oversee end‑to‑end payroll governance, ensuring compliance with Taiwan labor laws, tax and social insurance requirements.
• Manage payroll accounting, including accruals, journals, reconciliations and SAP GL alignment; support audits and statutory filings.
• Govern month‑end close processes, reviewing journal entries, intercompany transactions and cost‑center allocations in SAP FI/CO.
• Strengthen internal controls, maintain SOX documentation (if applicable) and coordinate with tax, treasury and shared services.
• Support the Controller on projects and cross‑functional initiatives to enhance finance operations.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level finance experience with strong FP&A capabilities.
• Hands‑on leader comfortable working as an individual contributor initially.
• Excellent communication skills in both Chinese and English.
• Experience in payroll management and familiarity with Taiwan regulatory environment is preferred.
