Senior Accountant

About the role

The Senior Accountant will work closely with the Accounting Supervisor to ensure accurate financial reporting and smooth daily accounting operations. This role supports global finance processes, tax compliance, and audit activities while helping to improve departmental workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Accounting Supervisor to guarantee accurate month‑end and year‑end closings, including balance‑sheet reconciliations.
• Oversee timely processing of Procure‑to‑Pay transactions for the Global Finance Team.
• Execute monthly bank compliance tasks and ensure adherence to deadlines.
• Assist with local tax filings, VAT, withholding tax, and tax reconciliations.
• Support internal and external audit preparations and follow‑up actions.
• Identify and resolve daily operational issues and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of relevant accounting experience; experience in a Big 4 firm is a plus.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and cross‑functional coordination abilities.
• Deep understanding of accounting standards and regulations.
• Fluent in both Mandarin and English, written and spoken.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Competent use of Microsoft Word.
• Competent use of Microsoft PowerPoint.
