Senior Accountant

About the role

The Senior Accountant will report directly to the Accounting Supervisor and play a key role in complex financial reporting, daily accounting operations, and oversight functions within our global finance team.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Accounting Supervisor to ensure accurate monthly and year‑end closing, including balance‑sheet reconciliation.
• Process Procure‑to‑Pay transactions managed by the Global Finance Team in a timely and accurate manner.
• Perform monthly bank compliance activities and meet all financial reporting deadlines.
• Assist with local tax reporting, including VAT, annual withholding tax filings, and tax reconciliations.
• Implement procedural improvements to enhance departmental workflows.
• Support internal and external audit processes and address daily operational issues.
• Undertake any additional responsibilities assigned by the manager or the company.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of relevant accounting experience; Big 4 experience is a plus.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and cross‑functional coordination abilities.
• Deep understanding of accounting standards and regulations.
• Proficiency in both Mandarin and English, written and spoken.
