Senior Accountant – Financial Consolidation & Analysis

About the role

We are looking for a highly motivated Senior Accountant to support cross‑border finance integration and ongoing financial operations for our overseas entities in the US, Germany and Spain. The role will act as a central function to improve month‑end closing efficiency, enhance accounting quality and standardise processes across regions.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate monthly close, perform revenue cut‑off testing and prepare journal entries for overseas entities, including occasional weekend work.
• Lead intercompany matching, resolve differences and decide on unified accounting treatments.
• Extract and consolidate revenue and financial data from the group ERP/Business Central system, and prepare monthly, quarterly and subsidiary consolidated financial statements.
• Calculate and track IFRS 16 and equity‑method adjustments, manage related‑party adjustments and ensure timely booking by local teams.
• Develop SOPs, drive automation and liaise between HQ, local teams and external advisors to standardise processes.
• Lead quarterly audit coordination, prepare audit documentation for public‑company reporting and compile filing packages and due‑diligence requests.

Required profile

• Professional accounting background with experience in cross‑border finance integration.
• Strong knowledge of month‑end close, intercompany reconciliation and financial consolidation.
• Familiarity with IFRS 16, equity‑method accounting and related‑party adjustments.
• Ability to develop standard operating procedures and drive process automation.
• Excellent stakeholder coordination skills across multiple regions.
