Senior Accountant (Crypto Clients)

About the role

UnicornFintech, a member of the Hytech Group, is expanding its Taiwan team and seeks a detail‑oriented Senior Accountant to manage accounting and fund reconciliation for cryptocurrency wallets, card services, and wealth‑management products. You will ensure financial data accuracy, compliance, and support automation initiatives across complex transaction flows.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily and monthly reconciliations across wallets, card platforms, bank accounts, payment gateways, and exchanges.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies, including blockchain delays, chargebacks, and FX variances.
• Prepare and review journal entries for crypto wallet transactions, card transactions, and wealth‑management activities.
• Lead month‑end and year‑end closing processes, ensuring correct multi‑currency recognition and FX gain/loss calculations.
• Track key financial and operational metrics and produce periodic reports for business performance.
• Collaborate with Product, Tech, and Risk teams to improve financial systems, drive automation, and enhance internal controls.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in accounting, finance, or audit.
• Experience in FinTech, payments, banking, crypto, or Big 4 environments is a plus.
• Strong understanding of general ledger and accounting principles.
