Project Manager – Industrial Equipment

About the role

Chart Industries (Howden) is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead industrial equipment projects from order intake through final delivery. Based in Taipei, you will act as the primary liaison between customers, factories, suppliers, and internal teams, ensuring projects meet schedule, cost, and quality targets.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end project lifecycle for industrial equipment, compressors and rotating machinery.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams including Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance, Service and Quality.
• Maintain project schedules, budgets, documentation and customer requirements.
• Organise and lead internal and external project meetings, providing regular status updates.
• Support FAT/SAT, site activities and commissioning as needed.
• Handle project risks, change requests and issue resolution.
• Oversee shipment arrangements with suppliers and forwarders.
• Ensure compliance with contractual terms and company procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher; engineering background preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of project management experience in engineering, equipment manufacturing, EPC or related industrial sectors.
• Experience with compressors, oil & gas, petrochemical, hydrogen or energy projects is a plus.
• Strong communication skills in Mandarin and functional English.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects independently and proactively.
