Project HSE Manager – Offshore Wind

About the role

The Project HSE Manager will lead health, safety and environmental (HSE) strategy for offshore wind turbine pre‑installation, installation and commissioning activities in the APAC region. This senior position ensures compliance with international, local and Vestas‑specific regulations while fostering a strong safety culture across all offshore teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement HSE strategies, risk assessments, hazard identification and mitigation plans for all project phases.
• Monitor, audit and evaluate offshore work to ensure compliance with HSE policies and regulatory requirements.
• Lead incident investigations, root‑cause analysis and corrective action implementation.
• Design, deliver and maintain HSE training programmes for personnel, contractors and subcontractors.
• Engage with regulators, stakeholders and project teams to communicate HSE performance and address concerns.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in occupational health and safety or a related field.
• 5‑7 years of HSE management experience in offshore wind, marine or similar high‑risk energy sectors.
• Valid Class B Occupational Safety and Health Management Technician licence (乙級職業安全衛生管理技術士).
• Strong knowledge of Taiwan HSE legislation and labor law.
• Proven leadership, communication and problem‑solving abilities.
