Production Test Engineer

About the role

Monolithic Power Systems is seeking a Production Test Engineer to work on power management integrated circuits for consumer, industrial, and automotive applications. The role involves using analog and digital circuit expertise, programming, and statistical analysis to ensure high‑quality, cost‑effective production testing.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze, optimize, and develop component‑level circuits and test programs (primarily C/C++) for precise parametric measurements of analog and mixed‑signal ICs, and manage risky production‑tested chips and test systems.
• Analyze and improve production test cost, efficiency, capacity, and smoothness through test‑time reduction, multisite test solutions, test platform transfer, and process simplification.
• Collaborate with other departments to complete new product qualification work.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Micro‑Electronic, Automation, Instrument Science & Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of analog and digital circuits and programming in C (C++ preferred).
• Good communication skills in Chinese and English (reading & writing).
• Willingness to attend training in MPS Chengdu office twice a year (total 2 months per year).
• Experience in power IC testing and familiarity with lab instruments (oscilloscope, multimeter, power source) are a plus.
