About the role

Join Applied Materials in Tainan as a Planner, supporting production scheduling, inventory control, and material resource planning for semiconductor manufacturing.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze slotting reports, run metrics, and follow documented business processes.
• Coordinate with marketing, engineering, and sourcing to ensure correct order setup in SAP and smooth production transitions.
• Maintain MRP integrity, manage order pull/push, and oversee milestone routings and test strategies globally.
• Initiate demand in MRP, monitor accuracy, reconcile supply and demand, and resolve data integrity issues.
• Manage material forecasts, NSR content, and over‑planned material for a set of products.

Required profile

• 1‑3 years of planning experience in production control, inventory control, or MRP.
• Demonstrated functional knowledge in the discipline and ability to broaden capabilities.
• Understanding of key business drivers and ability to apply them to daily work.
• Informal guidance to new team members without formal supervisory responsibilities.
• Problem‑solving skills for straightforward situations using technical judgment.
