Operations Manager – Mineral Production

About the role

Knauf Ceiling Solutions is seeking an Operations Manager for its mineral production line. You will lead a high‑performance plant, ensure safety, quality and cost targets, and drive continuous improvement across manufacturing and logistics.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and control the production budget, monitor compliance and manage P&L responsibilities.
• Implement safety systems, quality management, and environmental protection guidelines in manufacturing and logistics.
• Lead recruitment, training and development of team and shift leaders, fostering a lean, high‑performance culture.
• Oversee plant productivity, drive continuous improvement through lean manufacturing, and manage building maintenance.
• Coordinate quality promoters, monitor quality processes, and produce regular quality performance reports.
• Manage new product development projects, ensuring cost, schedule and performance targets are met.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 10 years of operations management experience with full P&L responsibility in a manufacturing plant.
• Proven leadership skills, change‑management capability and a strong track record of building manufacturing teams.
• Excellent communication in English and Chinese, with the ability to collaborate across functions.
