Mobile Application Developer (Android/iOS)

About the role

BJAK, the leading insurance platform in Southeast Asia, is looking for a Mobile Application Developer in Taipei to build the native Android experience for its AI Finance Agent. The role suits strong mobile builders who can ship clean, reliable and intuitive mobile experiences, whether their main strength is Android, iOS or both. It is a hybrid position, with at least three days per week in the Taiwan office.

Key responsibilities

• Build mobile features across Android, iOS or cross-platform flows depending on your strength.
• Create clean journeys for onboarding, accounts, payments, cards, transfers, rewards, travel, FX and AI-assisted features.
• Work from product problem to shipped mobile experience, not just assigned screens.
• Collaborate with backend, design, product and AI teams to launch reliable customer-facing features.
• Improve app quality through production feedback, analytics, crash reports and user behaviour.

Required profile

• Strong mobile development experience in Android, iOS or both.
• Experience shipping production mobile apps used by real users.
• Good product sense, UX judgement and attention to edge cases.
• Able to work across APIs, releases, debugging and production issues.
• Hands-on builder who can take ownership without heavy guidance; evidence of shipped work such as app links, GitHub, screenshots or project explanations.
• Strong English communication, as English is the main working language.
