Manual Test Engineer – Mobile Apps

About the role

Infosys is seeking an experienced and curious Manual Test Engineer to ensure the quality of its award‑winning mobile applications. You will work closely with developers and product managers, championing a quality‑first mindset and acting as the ultimate advocate for end users.

Key responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive test plans covering functional, performance, internationalization, and regression scenarios.
• Execute testing in line with the team’s release cadence and sprint cycles, signing off stories and releases.
• Create detailed test reports, analyze results, and present findings to cross‑functional teams.
• Collaborate with developers and product managers to identify, prioritize, and resolve issues efficiently.
• Integrate testing activities into the software development lifecycle to make quality an integral part of delivery.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of hands‑on testing experience on mobile devices (Android/iOS).
• Proven ability to work with product teams to design and execute test scenarios.
• Experience documenting test cases in tools such as TestRail.
• Strong teamwork skills within cross‑functional Scrum environments.
• Excellent aptitude for both formal and informal testing techniques and quality reporting.
