Manager Mechanical Engineering

About the role

Join Exyte’s global community of challenge seekers and lead mechanical engineering design for high‑tech markets such as semiconductors, batteries, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology and data centres. You will be responsible for delivering engineering excellence on fast‑track projects while ensuring compliance with Taiwan’s local authority regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead all design aspects of projects, both internal and external, and supervise related communications.
• Set up and enforce technical standards in line with the project scope and coordinate with the Project Manager.
• Provide supervision to Project Discipline Leads, Space Manager and CAD Coordinator, and attend coordination meetings.
• Manage design setup, checklists, deliverable plans, and report status to the Project Manager and Regional Engineering Manager.
• Maintain the Project Engineering Execution Plan, design criteria, change‑control processes and design issues list.

Required profile

• Degree in Engineering (Master preferred) and professional engineer status preferred.
• 12‑15 years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership role on fast‑track projects.
• Experience working in Taiwan and knowledge of local authority laws and regulations.
• Proven track record of managing staff, coaching, and implementing change strategies.
