Maintenance Technician – Production Equipment

About the role

The Maintenance Technician will ensure reliable operation of production equipment at the Long‑Teng plant. You will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, and improving machinery to minimise downtime and boost efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair equipment abnormalities and failures.
• Analyse root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Perform disassembly, repair, re‑assembly and testing following standard procedures.
• Provide immediate response to emergency breakdowns.
• Execute scheduled preventive maintenance and keep accurate maintenance records.
• Monitor equipment condition, assess wear, and recommend predictive maintenance.
• Conduct daily equipment inspections and report abnormal conditions.
• Participate in improvement projects, equipment upgrades and new‑equipment commissioning.
• Deliver safety and health orientation for contractors and enforce LOTO and PPE requirements.
• Complete work orders and maintain equipment history documentation.

Required profile

• Technical background in mechanical or electrical maintenance.
• Ability to work in a plant environment and respond quickly to breakdowns.
• Strong analytical mindset for root‑cause analysis.
• Commitment to safety, health and environmental standards.
