Legal Counsel – Global Operations

About the role

Lattice Semiconductor is seeking a practical, business‑minded attorney to support its expanding global footprint. Based in Taiwan, the Legal Counsel – Global Operations will help build and maintain the legal infrastructure that enables efficient worldwide operations.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with business and functional leaders across Asia‑Pacific to provide proactive legal advice and develop practical solutions.
• Manage subsidiary governance activities, including board and shareholder approvals, statutory filings, and corporate record‑keeping across multiple jurisdictions.
• Support cross‑border operational matters such as international mobility, remote‑work arrangements, and global workforce expansion.
• Handle employment‑related legal issues, including contracts, onboarding, investigations, leaves of absence, restructurings, and separations.
• Coordinate with outside counsel in various jurisdictions, interpret local law advice, and translate requirements into actionable recommendations.
• Provide day‑to‑day support for anti‑corruption, competition, privacy, records management, and other compliance matters.
• Assist with post‑acquisition integration, workforce scaling, and the development of scalable legal processes, templates, and governance frameworks.

Required profile

• Law degree and license to practice law.
• 3–8 years of experience in a law firm or in‑house role supporting multinational organizations.
• Strong knowledge of corporate governance, subsidiary management, and compliance functions.
• Experience managing outside counsel and coordinating multi‑jurisdictional legal advice.
• Significant exposure to employment law and global HR issues.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Strong project‑management, organizational, and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating across time zones.
