IT Manager / Business Partner

About the role

The IT Manager / Business Partner will support Shiseido Taiwan’s digital transformation by aligning business needs with technology solutions. Acting as a trusted advisor, the role bridges local operations, applications, and stakeholder engagement with global IT strategy. The position requires both strategic thinking and hands‑on execution in a fast‑moving retail environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support execution of the local IT strategy, ensuring compliance with corporate governance, cybersecurity, and architectural standards.
• Manage and maintain key business applications such as Business Intelligence, POS, and WMS, coordinating enhancements and issue resolution with regional and global teams.
• Act as the primary IT Business Partner for assigned functions, translating business requirements into actionable IT initiatives.
• Lead local IT projects, tracking scope, timeline, budget, risks, and dependencies while coordinating cross‑functional teams and vendors.
• Oversee vendor relationships, SLA compliance, and contribute to IT budget planning and cost control.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of progressive IT experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership or management role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Fluent in Mandarin and English.
• Relevant certifications such as PMP, ITIL, or cloud platform credentials are preferred.

Required skills

• Experience with Business Intelligence (BI) tools.
• Proficiency in Point of Sale (POS) systems.
• Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Understanding of IT governance and cybersecurity fundamentals.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and project management methodologies (PMP, ITIL).
