IT Helpdesk Engineer – Taiwan & APAC

About the role

The IT Helpdesk / Service Desk Engineer provides first‑line technical support to internal users across Taiwan, Japan, Korea and other overseas locations. The role resolves issues related to Windows systems, hardware, software, network connectivity, printers and meeting‑room equipment through onsite, remote and communication‑based channels.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑line IT technical support and track incidents and service requests to resolution.
• Install, configure and troubleshoot Windows computers, business applications, network connectivity and peripheral devices.
• Prepare and configure computers for new employees, manage device replacements, upgrades, data migration and equipment recovery.
• Deploy software and updates using Microsoft SCCM / Configuration Manager and troubleshoot deployment failures.
• Support Microsoft Teams Rooms, video‑conferencing devices, displays, printers and other shared workplace technologies.
• Maintain accurate IT asset records and standardized deployment procedures.
• Create and maintain Knowledge Base articles, FAQs and standard operating procedures.
• Analyze recurring issues and collaborate with IT teams and vendors to improve service efficiency and automation.

Required profile

• College diploma or higher, preferably in IT, Computer Science or related field.
• Hands‑on knowledge of Windows 10 and Windows 11 installation, configuration and troubleshooting.
• Strong customer service, communication and problem‑solving abilities.
• Basic English reading and communication skills for supporting users across regions.
• Self‑motivated, detail‑oriented and able to work independently and collaboratively.
