Head of Corporate Affairs & Brand

About the role

Prudential is seeking a strategic leader to own the corporate affairs and brand function. The Head of Corporate Affairs & Brand will shape, protect, and promote the company’s reputation and brand image across all stakeholder groups, aligning with Group and regional strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Lead external communications, media relations, press releases, and CEO positioning.
• Oversee internal communications to ensure employee engagement and alignment.
• Manage corporate events, sponsorships, and CSR programs, including child protection and community partnerships.
• Act as the primary media contact, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
• Develop and execute crisis communication protocols with agency partners.
• Define corporate brand positioning, messaging framework, and governance to ensure consistent visual and verbal identity.
• Collaborate with marketing teams on paid media planning, brand storytelling, and integrated campaigns.
• Partner with senior leadership, legal, compliance, and risk functions to ensure regulatory alignment.
• Provide communication counsel to the CEO and Executive Committee.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the Corporate Affairs and Branding team.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in corporate communications, brand management, or related fields.
• Strong track record of managing media relations, crisis communications, and CSR initiatives.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, with experience influencing senior executives.
• Ability to translate strategic objectives into actionable communication plans.
