Head of Communications – Taiwan

About the role

The Head of Communications for Taiwan will lead Ørsted’s media and external communications across Taiwan and frontier markets in APAC. Reporting to the APAC President, you will shape the company’s reputation, advise senior leaders, and ensure alignment with global communication standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute an integrated communications strategy covering external, internal, branding, digital, and leadership communications in Taiwan.
• Advise senior leaders on reputation management, media strategy, stakeholder positioning, issues management, and executive communications.
• Build and maintain relationships with trade, business, regional, national, and online media in Taiwan.
• Produce high‑quality content such as press releases, speeches, presentations, social media posts, articles, and employee communications.
• Lead corporate branding, storytelling, marketing campaigns, events, and employee engagement initiatives to strengthen Ørsted’s reputation.
• Provide Taiwan market insights to support selected APAC communications priorities and coordinate relevant content.

Required profile

• Proven experience in corporate communications, media relations, reputation management or public relations (agency or in‑house).
• Deep understanding of Taiwan’s media landscape, regulatory environment and stakeholder relations, with sound judgment on sensitive issues.
• Experience working in a multinational, matrix‑organized company and ability to collaborate across cultures.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and execute integrated communications strategies across owned, earned and social channels.
• Strong people‑leadership skills with experience coaching and developing a high‑performing communications team.
• Fluency in Mandarin.
