Full-Stack Developer - 3D Visualization Platform

About the role

The ASUS Robotics & AI Center is looking for a Full-Stack Developer to join its global R&D team. The role centers on building and evolving a web platform that turns image data into interactive 3D reconstructions, letting users explore and analyze spatial content through a browser. The ideal candidate has deep expertise in modern full-stack development, a strong grasp of cloud infrastructure and a commitment to maintainable, scalable code.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the full stack: React/Next.js frontend, API layer, PostgreSQL database and GCP infrastructure.
• Build performant 3D visualizations with existing frameworks and implement spatial analysis tools.
• Work with stakeholders to reduce latency in real-time data visualizations.
• Contribute to infrastructure decisions across Cloud Run, Cloud Functions and Batch.
• Write clean, maintainable, well-commented code and take ownership of the full software lifecycle in a cross-functional team.
• Collaborate with other teams on software architecture decisions.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science or a related field.
• 5+ years of industry experience or equivalent.
• Deep experience with Next.js (App Router, API Routes) and TypeScript.
• Experience with PostgreSQL and an ORM such as Prisma.
• Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD pipelines and containerized deployments.
• Understanding of coding standards, code reviews, design patterns, source control and test automation.

Required skills

• GCP preferred; AWS or Azure experience also acceptable.
• Terraform is a plus.
• Python for backend integration is a plus.
• UI design tools such as Figma and a strong eye for UI/UX are a plus.
