Finance Assistant Manager

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented and proactive Finance Assistant Manager to join our Finance team. In this position you will oversee day‑to‑day financial operations, manage month‑end closing, prepare managerial reporting and support annual budgeting and forecasting while acting as a bridge between senior management and operational finance teams.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and streamline month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end closing activities, ensuring timeliness and accuracy.
• Review and consolidate group financial statements, management reports and variance analysis.
• Prepare annual budgets, quarterly forecasts and long‑term financial plans in partnership with the Finance Director.
• Monitor cash flow, working capital and operational KPIs.
• Supervise and mentor junior accounting/finance staff, managing daily workflow and performance.
• Optimize finance policies, internal controls and operational workflows.
• Serve as primary liaison for auditors, tax authorities, banks and other external parties.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field.
• 5–7 years of accounting or finance experience, including 1–2 years in a supervisory or senior specialist role.
• Experience in a Big 4 audit firm combined with commercial in‑house experience is highly advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, local GAAP and tax regulations.
• Fluent professional written and spoken English.

Required skills

• Hands‑on proficiency with major ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle or NetSuite.
• Advanced MS Excel skills.
