Field Service Engineer – TSMC Support

About the role

The Field Service Engineer will install, commission, maintain and troubleshoot equipment for TSMC customers. You will work both independently and within a team, responding to out‑of‑hours calls to meet a 2‑hour response target.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out installation, commissioning and planned maintenance at customer sites.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures and provide on‑site technical support.
• Report activities and customer requests to the Field Service Team Leader.
• Respond to emergency calls outside regular hours, ensuring a 2‑hour response time.

Required profile

• Experience in field service activities is advantageous.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical engineering drawings.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build customer relationships.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Interpretation of engineering drawings and schematics.
• Electro‑mechanical assembly and fitting.
• Knowledge of PLC control systems and electronics.
