Extended Expertise Consultant

About the role

Palo Alto Networks is seeking an Extended Expertise Consultant to act as a trusted technical partner for customers deploying our security integrations. You will work directly with client teams, providing strategic guidance and hands‑on implementation to secure their digital environments.

Key responsibilities

• Design and build custom security policies and application signatures tailored to unique client environments.
• Consult on‑site with customers, delivering best‑practice security methodologies and acting as a trusted advisor.
• Analyze logs and event data, produce threat analysis reports, and recommend remediation actions.
• Collaborate with the Technical Assistance Center to troubleshoot and resolve escalated cases.
• Mitigate web‑based threats promptly and maintain the overall health of implemented solutions.
• Provide mentorship on code upgrades, platform changes, and emerging technology developments.
• Partner with sales account teams to shape technical strategies that address customer business needs.
• Support management through regular reporting and business‑need tracking.
