Engineering Technician – Cleanroom Equipment Assembly

About the role

As an Engineering Technician you will work hands‑on in a cleanroom environment building, repairing and testing multimillion‑dollar display and wafer fabrication equipment. The position supports the development of advanced semiconductor and display technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Use work orders, schematics and wiring diagrams to assemble, repair and test electrical, electro‑mechanical, vacuum and pneumatic components.
• Perform electro‑mechanical assembly operations, troubleshoot faults, conduct audits of parts, and ensure parts are defect‑free.
• Utilise test fixtures, electronic measurement equipment, leak detectors and vacuum pumps to verify assemblies and sub‑assemblies.
• Complete job documentation, enter data on progress, labor and expenses, and perform software installs or programming as needed.

Required profile

• Associate’s degree.
• 2–4 years of experience in semiconductor or display manufacturing, or comparable industry/military experience.
• Relevant technical training or certifications.
