Engineering Manager - Product Innovation

About the role

Lead an R&D team and drive product innovation with strategic impact, shaping product roadmaps and technology direction in a global environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute R&D strategies, product development plans, and technology roadmaps.
• Lead and manage cross‑functional engineering teams, including software, firmware, and electronics development.
• Drive new product development and continuous improvement initiatives from concept through commercialization.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify business opportunities and guide product strategy.
• Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure successful delivery.
• Foster collaboration across internal departments and external partners to strengthen innovation capabilities.
• Build a high‑performing R&D organization through coaching, mentoring, and talent development.
• Ensure products and development activities comply with relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Technology, or a related discipline.
• At least 10 years of R&D experience, including a minimum of 3 years in a leadership role.
• Proven track record of managing complex product development projects from concept to launch.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Strategic thinker who can align technology innovation with business objectives.
• Knowledge of product compliance, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
• Experience in OEM/ODM environments and cross‑industry collaborations is highly preferred.
