Electrical Design Engineer – DUV IBE (Linkou)

About the role

Join the Design & Engineering team responsible for extending the life of ASML's PAS 5500 and XT‑1‑2‑3 lithography platforms. You will redesign, create and test electronic sub‑systems while managing cost, schedule and quality constraints.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to redesign, creation and testing of PAS5500 and XT1‑2‑3 sub‑systems within cost and schedule constraints.
• Manage End‑of‑Life component replacement, peripheral redesign and supplier transfers in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
• Define requirements, review detailed designs and integrate outsourced modules, ensuring functional qualification at part and system level.
• Lead electronic aspects of repairs, refurbishment and troubleshooting to deliver quick fixes and structural solutions.
• Provide electrical development and quality support across multidisciplinary teams, covering PCBA, cables, sensors, racks and cabinets.
• Support manufacturing and customer support with engineering changes and documentation using 3D models and BOM structures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
• Proven project‑management experience in PCBA, rack and cabinet design and electro‑mechanical integration.
• Experience with mixed‑signal digital and analog circuit design, testing and troubleshooting.
• Ability to work across cultures and act as a technology bridge between ASML sites and Asian suppliers.
